Abstract : The green synthesis of ZnO NPs used is much better and affordable since the process provides more eco-friendly, economical, free toxic, and easy to compose rather than using other chemicals and physical methods. The research explores the green synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles using banana leaves extract, focusing on their structural properties, optical properties, and surface morphology. The best technique involves zinc nitrate hexahydrate solution as a metal precursor, resulting in high-quality ZnO nanoparticles with plant extract as stabilizing and capping agent. SEM, XRD, PL spectroscopy, and FT-Raman and FTIR analyses were used for chemical identification. The objective of this study is to sort-out the best biological or green synthesis by using bananas leaves to fabricate the high quality of ZnO NPs and to report the previous, current and the latest structural and optical properties of ZnO NPs by using banana leaves.
